About the Role:Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Initial point of contact following reported relevant incidents, providing operational information and advice to stakeholders, gathering relevant essential information and demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions.Ability to establish a keen understanding of procedural protocols to enable the provision of effective incident response advise seamlessly.Responsible for compiling data to support Infrastructure Safety with the identification of trends, patterns and areas for improvement.Assist in the preparation of project information, reports, submissions, briefing materials, correspondence and branch specific support documents and templates.Develop, maintain and monitor productive working relationships with internal and external clients and key stakeholders to deliver tailored infrastructure, planning and asset management solutions that address their needs through a best practice approach aligned to departmental and whole of government priorities and expected outcomes.Be responsible for monitoring and controlling your own workload, taking responsibility for allocating and reallocating tasks and working closely with colleagues to deliver on competing demands.Participate in the identification and recommendation of system, service and business process changes to provide improvement in service delivery.Undertake a range of work unit specific activities where required Highly desirable skills and experience; Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, with exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure.Interest in data analysis tools and techniques, with a keen eye for detail.Sound organisational skills, including the ability to develop innovative and client focused solutions that address infrastructure, planning and asset management issues to deliver effective solutions.Ability to engage in a process of continuous improvement activities including the ability to prioritise and perform work tasks to meet deadlines, commitments and client service standards.Ability to participate in work teams to proactively support delivery of processes, services, structures and practices through effective development and maintenance of productive client and stakeholder relationships.emonstrated research and analysis skills, with a proven ability to initiate, monitor and report on infrastructure related projects and programs within set timeframes and provide accurate advice on these matters.Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.High proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
