To strengthen and grow our Competence Center in Australia, we are looking for a passionate Senior Sales Engineer for the Local Traction Division in Australia and New Zealand. If you have a keen interest in securing sustainable local growth, building local networks, and supporting global business sales, this is your chance. Reporting to Traction Sales Manager, this position will be based in Melbourne, Australia. Your responsibilities Being responsible for local demand order railway, entire portfolio including traction and auxiliary converters, traction motor, traction battery and standard catalogue products

Supporting of local demand for Mobile e-Power, electrification of various vehicles, including dump trucks, construction machines, material handlers, and electric buses

Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way: order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction

Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships in railway to understand customer needs and align to provide a solution

Building up technical know-how and deep understanding of the rail and Mobile e-Power portfolio and be able to have technical discussions with customers

Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

Composing tender documents as a tender manager with support from respective specialists. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and commercial conditions. Responsible for sales processes; T&Cs, risk review and mitigation, and project set up

Performing monthly reviews with global sales team, and reviewing the status of the sales project. Ensuring high quality of data in salesforce and using the tools for communication with contacts and performing systematic market intelligence

Your background Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline with minimum 5 years of experience working as a sales, Business development operator or OEM in the transportation segment

Sound knowledge of onboard traction system for railway, mining vehicle applications, and ebusĀ 

Self-motivated with strong interpersonal communication skills

Experience in system sales to bring together products and software to deliver a solution for the customer

Must have a technical Background in power electronic for transportation applications and apply it to the sale process

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Willing to travel interstate
