Export Sea & Airfreight Coordinator - Derrimut Victoria

Successful International Freight Forwarding company based in Derrimut is continuing to grow and now looking for a hands on, Export Sea & Airfreight Coordinator to join their team. Open to Senior or Junior experience. 90% Export Sea & 10% Export Air. May also look at Supervisor experience. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for handling Export Sea & Airfreight operations and customer service. End to end management of export booking process and documentation, including export customs clearance.    Experience required:    - Min 2 years in export sea/air shipments. - FCL/LCL experience. - FAK experience will be great. - Customer Service - Cargowise/EDI experience is required. - Be an all-rounder or close too. - Open plan - office environment. - Derrimut area - car parking onsite. You will be responsible for arranging bookings with carriers and airlines. Invoicing of shipments in a timely manner and communicating to customers regarding shipment status. Providing quotations to clients, as required. Ideally have a minimum 2 + years' experience in export Sea & Air operations. Knowledge of CargoWise I.T. System preferred but not essential. Ability to handle high volume of emails and customer queries, and to think and act quickly. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills over the phone and email. Good problem solving abilities and be able to work in a team environment, and independently.   This role requires a mature and friendly person, with a positive can-do attitude.
