Kindergarten Teacher

International Chinese School is a ministry of the Anglican Church serving families seeking a bilingual Christian education. ICS is a K-6 school conveniently located in St Leonards on Sydney's Lower North Shore.The School seeks a qualified, NESA-approved Kindergarten teacher. The School offers a bilingual immersion program, and 50% of the teaching week is delivered in Mandarin. English-speaking teachers deliver the English component to a class, with Mandarin-speaking teachers the Chinese component. For Kindergarten, this results in the teacher programming half the syllabus and teaching it twice (once to each kindy class). This full-time position commences in Term 2. Selection Criteria Essential To have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and attend a Christian Church regularly Accept the School's Statement of Faith and live a consistent lifestyle.
