This is a key role within the team that is responsible for driving impactful initiatives to enrich the student experience. You will oversee student society connections, the student ambassador program and collaborate on experiential learning programs. This role will give you the opportunity to foster key society relationships, strategically guide the student ambassador program, aid program development, and manage team reporting. This is an opportunity to support students in their university experience in a role that will provide career advancement.This role reports to the Manager - Student Experience & Opportunities. Demonstrated expertise in fostering student engagement and crafting programs/initiatives aimed at enhancing skills and cultivating a sense of community among participants.Engagement and stakeholder management skills including the ability to establish long-term relationships with student, academic and external stakeholders, with a strong track record in delivery of successful outcomes.Skilled in managing budgets for student engagement programs, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial responsibility.Committed to innovation, adapting to changing needs, and implementing best practices in program management.Superior communication skills, including demonstrated ability to write content for mass communication and effectively deliver public presentations.Excellent time management and 3organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training. Level 8 (in addition to the above) A postgraduate qualification with relevant experience in student engagement and events, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.Experience in advising, mentoring, or supporting student organisations, maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders and measuring the effectiveness of engagement activities and programs.Proven ability to provide strategic guidance on initiatives that have broad impact and align with objectives.Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures, with experience managing budgets for events and program delivery.Demonstrated ability to manage programs focused on specific outcomes that engage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
