Specifically, the Data & Reporting Analystis accountable for:Working closely with the Planning and Delivery teams to optimisedata collection processes-enhancing dataaccuracy and completenesswhilealso improving operational efficiency and effectivenessDeveloping standard reports and dashboards in line with Contract requirements to track performance against KPIsWorking closely with the Contract Leadership Team to develops reports and dashboards supporting trend analysis of internalperformance metricsrelating to works completion, as well assafety, environmental and qualityoutcomesMonitoring compliance with the Data Management Plan, and contributing to review and update of the Data Management Plan in line with Contract requirementsPreparing ad-hoc reporting as requested by Business & Performance Manager and broader teamThis role can be based in either our Network Intelligence & Operations Centre (NIOC) in Melbourne CBD or in our VRMC Depot in South Dandenong. Full-time, part-time and flexible working options will be considered for this role. About you:You'll have at least three years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as as civil engineering, road construction / maintenance, resources or heavy manufacturing.A committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement, you'll demonstrate:Detailed knowledge of data lifecycle management and a relentless focus on complying with complying with legislative standards, contract specifications and internal data management processesStrong interpersonal skills, with a track record of championing data accuracy and completeness, influencing front line workers, supervisors and management personnel to embed an "data matters" cultureExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Well-developed digital skills, including familiarity with AI / ML toolsHigh levels of self-motivation, exceptional time-management skills and aproven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervisionFormal qualifications (Cert IV) or higher in data analytics and / or an engineering or asset management related field are a bonus, but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and capability.Why you should join the VRMC team:The work we do connects communities and makes them stronger.
