The Consumer Market Insights (CMI) team is essential to this transformation as they are responsible for consumer insights expertise, knowledge and focus to help change the pladis culture from Product centric to Consumer-centric. What will this role achieve? The UK Consumer & Market Insights team plays a strategic consultant role, challenging current thinking, proactively moving the business forward, and encouraging profitable growth. The Youth CMI Manager will play a key role in supporting the UK&I Insights Director and the Youth Marketing Director to develop and accelerate our consumer-centric Youth strategy across our Sweet snacking portfolio. This will also include the development of a Sustainability-friendly NPD pipeline. They will chip in to deliver outstanding balanced marketing strategies and ensure that all decisions, strategies and activations are consumer-centric!

What will be your key deliverables? Deliver ground-breaking human insights that support the development of our Youth portfolio strategy for Pladis UK&I.

Actively support the Youth Marketing director in the development and execution of their Innovation strategy:Support the development of a winning Y&K 3 years innovation pipeline through the development of Y&K snacking Innovation platforms that will drive strong idea generation and concept development in order to help Pladis to move to a leading position in Y&K snackingProvide support and insight on the development of Innovation propositions, including product, pack and price developmentRecommend on the best research approach to validating and understanding of the innovation ensuring world-class commercialisationDeliver a clear research plan to support the Y&K Marketing Director in the development and execution of their Brand Building strategy:Drive the Repositioning of our Jaffa brand (£100m brand)Identify the Communication and Activation opportunities we have around Y&K with our existing Sweet brand portfolio including Jaffa, Pinguin, Gold, Club, Flipz and Iced Gem brandsMonitor Brand Health in Y&K sweet snackingImplement outstanding monitoring plans for our main Y&K consumer-facing activationsLead internal and external partners in Marketing, R&D, Customer and global Y&K and Insight teamManages CMI Y&K insight budgetBecome the consumer expert on Sustainability in Macro-snacking: Leverage the BCG demand spaces dataset to build consumer typologies around Health and SustainabilityBring your experience Essential Skills Knowledge & ExperienceCMI experience with another FMCG manufacturer, ideally within Impulse/Snacking categoriesSolid understanding of market research methodologies Quantitive and Qualitative research methodology design.Be a strong storyteller, with the ability to communicate insights with impact & in an inspiring wayCollaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skillsDemonstrate both analytical and creative thinking abilitiesStrong conceptual skills, including flexibility in approach to problem-solving, and ability to push beyond the obvious to find innovative solutions.Stands alone, when needed, with strong points of view and presents facts/insights in challenging situations with professional manner.Comfortable dealing with Senior Stakeholders (CMO, R&D VP, NRM Director) on a regular basis.Our PurposeBring happiness with every bite
