This is an exciting opportunity to join Monash health Imaging at Monash Medical Centre. The vacant position is a Grade 3 MIT within the CT leadership team. About the Role

To produce a high standard of quality images within the imaging department. The role is a rostered shift work role, providing imaging services to the inpatients and emergency department patients as well as outpatients. This role will predominantly work within CT at Monash Medical Centre however may work in any modality across Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children's Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital dependant on skills. High level CT skills will be looked upon favourably. There will be shift work and oncall required as per the department roster. Duties include:

Provide high quality imaging at all times. Ensuring a high quality of patient care at all times. To assist in providing the best possible education and training.  Assist the Grade 4 CT supervisor by participating in audits, quality assurance, and quality control processes.  Aiding the staff in gaining the necessary knowledge to enable them to carry out their tasks to the best of their ability. Administrative and technical support to the Grade 4 CT supervisors across all sites. Assist the Grade 4 CT supervisors in managing research requirements for authorised projects. Assist the Grade 4 CT supervisors in managing equipment breakdowns. Attendance and participation is required at MIT staff meetings, modality staff meetings and other meetings as required. This role will be based across Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children's Hospital and the Victorian Heart Hospital in Clayton.

What We are looking for in You:  Highly motivated MIT with at least 7 years experience and advanced knowledge and skill in CT Demonstrated commitment and dedication to CT Adaptability to manage ever changing workloads, disruptions and staff resources Current registration with AHPRA Current Police check and valid Employee Working with Children card People enjoy working in this team because they are committed to clinical and academic excellence and have the opportunity to provide the best service possible, guided by our values.
