Full time, continuing appointment - 2 positions available  Research Active Academic Level B salary - $110,500 to $130,649 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Darwin Waterfront Campus  Utilize your experience and passion in Law to teach students at Charles Darwin University (CDU) About the Position

As a Lecturer in Law, you will contribute to teaching, research, and innovative community engagement activities in the area of Law. Developing and delivering a mix of semester length units as well as short courses aimed at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education markets whilst contributing to legal scholarship and/or scholarship relating to pedagogy and, where appropriate, engaging in co-supervision of higher degree research students.

About You

To be successful, you will require:

A relevant postgraduate qualification or higher in Law, or related discipline and proven experience in a similar role.Demonstrated research ability and commitment to carrying out legal research.Evidence of effectiveness as a law teacher, a commitment to superior teaching outcomes, flexible teaching hours (including evening classes) and demonstrated interest in the development and understanding of distance learning and modern information and communication technologies.Evidence of ability to teach into at least two of the Priestly 11 subjects, including Property Law, Criminal Law and Torts Law.Demonstrated ability to effectively undertake administrative responsibilities, including unit coordination.Demonstrated capacity and willingness to work effectively and consultatively as a member of a team. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills engaging a wide range of audiences, and successful experience in collaborative endeavours.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992. Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level B salary. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 to $130,649 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 to $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
