Management Team: General Manager & Assistant Manager|Oborozuki The RolesWe are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager and Restaurant Assistant Manager to join Oborozuki Restaurant in Sydney. The ideal GM and RM thrive off being involved in the action during service.Oborozuki is a fine-dining restaurant with a separated bar and high-profile location. Restaurant is currently under renovation to redefine expectation and experience in the Australian hospitality industry. Our door will be re-opened at the end of September 2023 with new concepts in food menu. The renewed menu is designed as Contemporary Australian Fine Dining with Japanese touch, using local and fresh seasonal products. Located in Circular quay. The is your chance to grow and develop a longstanding career alongside the show-stopping Sydney Harbour.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and deliver all service operations, ensuring impeccable service standards at all times.Respond efficiently and accurately to guest concerns, managing feedback to enhance the guest experience.Lead and inspire both front and back of house teams, ensuring seamless collaboration.Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development, appraising & monitoring staff performance, and providing feedback to improve productivity.Control operational costs, report figures, and manage cash.Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of large-scale functions and events.Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders.Work closely with local owners to maintain the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and standards through efficient operations and guest experience.Ensure the customer service is of the highest standard.Working with head chef to build and implement strategies to improve company culture, business, people, and overall business profitability.Qualifications:Demonstrated management skills in both front and back of house.A minimum of three years of experience in fine dining restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, team motivation, and balancing seating capacity.Understanding of contemporary Australian cuisine.Wine & cocktail knowledge.Ability to manage a 200+ seat restaurantExperience in large functions and events is advantageous.A genuinely hospitable and warm disposition, with a natural ability to build long-term relationships while positively influencing others to achieve team success.Key Responsibilities:Have experience as a hands-on leader who has the ability to influence a positive workplace culture.Oversee all day-to-day operations, including shift management, cash and stock handling, sales targets and overall presentation.Managing and overseeing Front of house, kitchen and all facets of the businessAssist RM with day to day tasks including operations and trainingBe responsible for all recruitment, onboarding and staff development.Have experience in rostering and approving timesheets accordingly.Develop and maintain a superior level of product, service and hospitality standardsImplement processes and standards to ensure all front-of-house operations run effectively and seamlessly.Ensure the customer service is of the highest standard.Build a strong rapport with all guests and clients.Qualifications:Minimum 2 year experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a high volume environment.A highly structured and organized approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Exceptional management skills and the ability to work autonomously.Personable and great hospitality spiritStrong financial awareness especially regarding COGs and LabourBe an open communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills** All Applicants must have full working rights in Australia to be shortlisted for this position **What we offer youCompetitive Salary + Overtime payGreat Career Opportunity and developmentF&B staff discounts across TS HoldingBrand new and city-view working environment.Management IncentivesTeam mealsYour application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as an Assistant Manager?How many years' experience do you have as a Restaurant General Manager?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
