Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy)Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has a forecasted 10+ year mine life producing over 200,000 Au Ozs for the first five years of production. Construction of the mill has recently been completed, with first gold pour completed in CY Q4 2023.Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks the project in advance of underground production. The operation is an industry stand out with strong financial and ESG metrics underpinned by the exceptional grade of the project.The Bellevue Gold Project is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The company strives to create a high-performance organization that delivers superior shareholder value, positive ESG outcomes and an environment for people to thrive.This position is responsible for contributing to the achievement of operational and strategic targets through the provision of a comprehensive maintenance planning service that ensures the integrity of plant & equipment. This position is a full-time site-based role on an 8 and 6 roster.Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Enhance the capability of the company to consistently achieve production targets in alignment with legislative requirements by diligently applying and imparting knowledge & skills to maintenance personnel and contractors.Achieve optimal serviceability of plant & equipment by designing and following appropriate systems that monitor the condition of assets to ensure reliable operation in the most economical manner.Achieve operational and strategic objectives of the business by developing appropriate schedules of work & activities and plans using designated maintenance management systems to ensure reliable & serviceability of plant & equipment.Enhance departmental capability to achieve targets by developing effective working relationships with key operations and maintenance personnel to better understand and plan for required work, budget needs and labour requirements.Secure the integrity of maintenance plans by developing strong networks with Purchasing and Supply personnel to ensure the timely availability of parts and equipment as planned.Ensure that planned shutdowns are executed according to plan by applying knowledge, skills and abilities to develop robust, well developed plans achievable within realistic timeframes.Ensure sustainable operations to meet statutory compliance requirements by maintaining registered plant and equipment log books, ensuring registers are accurate and up to date.Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:Strong commitment to safetyRecognised Trades Certificate or appropriate tertiary qualificationsExperience in mining operations with understanding of processing technologies and equipmentDemonstrated experience in maintenance planningDemonstrated level of in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office suite and Maintenance Management SystemDemonstrate use of Pronto applicationsBGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organisation which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
