We deliver both the uplift required from Firmwide Risk itself, but also in Risk's contribution to firmwide transformation, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And we're looking for a leader to take our team to the next level, as we develop and implement robust risk management strategies and frameworks to mitigate identified risks effectively within our vast community of solvers.Use the know-how you've gained in financial instruments, markets, and risk management methodologies to grow our Enterprise Risk team. As a leader in the Enterprise Risk team, you'll make a real impact in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.As an expert in Financial Risk Management, you'll lead a team solving problems by assessing the potential impact of identified risks on PwC Australia's financial performance and strategic objectives. In our Enterprise Risk team, you'll also:Develop and implement financial risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure financial stability and growthWork closely with PwC Australia's Enabling Areas to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, across Investment Risk, Credit Risk, Funding & Liquidity, Market Risk, Insurance Risk and Profitability & Capital.Identify, evaluate, and quantify financial risks across various areas of PwC Australia including across Investment Risk, Credit Risk, Funding & Liquidity, Market Risk, Insurance Risk and Profitability & Capital.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards pertaining to risk management.Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting key risk exposures, trends, and mitigation efforts.Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Treasury, Investment, and Compliance teams to align risk management strategies with overall business objectives.Provide leadership and guidance to the risk management team, fostering a culture of risk awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.Establish robust monitoring and control mechanisms to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and promptly address emerging risks.Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging risks to proactively identify new threats and opportunities.More About You:You have bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.You have at least 8 years' experience in financial risk management within a banking, financial services, or corporate environment.You have comprehensive understanding of financial instruments, markets, and risk management methodologies.You have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and draw actionable insights.You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.You have demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.You have sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in financial risk management.You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.It's time to move forward.
