Penrith Panthers and Panthers Foundation are looking for a passionate, community focused individual interested in driving a positive impact on our community through programs, events and campaigns.Panthers Foundation goal is to be a source of pride for the members of our community, something they resonate with and endeavour to be a part of.We are looking for a full-time Foundation & Community Executive to join our team. The position has a unique opportunity to build positive relationships with a variety of internal and external partners to deliver high impact programs and initiatives by leading on and administering the following areas of work:Panthers Foundation's three pillars (education, community & participation)Lead on delivery of programs and initiatives within the Foundation's three pillars, including Adopt-A-School, Sticks to Stadium, Play Like a Panther and our relationship with Nepean HospitalSupport club activities that are integrated into local community activitiesDepartment expenses are maintained in line with budget or adjusted to revenue with remedial actions for variationsLead on coordinating player appearances across business and supervision of player appearances within the community spaceAdminister and report on all programs within the Foundation PillarsWork closely with Head of Foundation & Community on new program development, business plans and implementationAdminister the Community Inbox and community storage spaces within the Rugby League Academy and BlueBet StadiumManage and coordinate all aspects of Community Volunteering within Panthers Foundation, including but not limited to recruitment, management, training and deployment of volunteersEvents & Fundraising CampaignsCoordinate planning and operational matters for Foundation & Community events and campaignsWhere appropriate, work with Head of Foundation & Community on any potential fundraising aspects to both Rugby League and Community/Foundation events and campaignsLead and assist with all events and campaigns in an efficient, friendly and productive mannerWork collaboratively with both marketing and finance functions within Rugby League as appropriate and required for all events and campaignsRemain up to date and aware of competitor products and facilitiesCommunity Presence on Game DaysLead on Panthers Foundation & Community activities at Panthers Game DaysAdhere to all health and safety policies and procedures on gamed daysSupport Head of Foundation & Community in developing new community initiatives for game daysDelivering community programs and experiences as requiredQualifications & experienceTertiary education in sports/management/community; significant work experience can substitute for the degreeAt least 1-2 years' experience in large scale eventsAt least 1-2 years' experience with community programsAbility to accomplish projects with little supervisionAbility to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteersExcellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speakingExcellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalismFantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for qualityIntermediate level of computer skills and proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and mail merges; email and web searchesStrong attention to detail, organisational and time management skillsGood interpersonal and supervisory skillsAbility to negotiate and work under pressure
