The role Due to continued growth in our business, we're looking for someone with an eye for detail who enjoys solving complex aviation problems to support the delivery of our airport planning, development and operations services. This role will suit someone with a customer-oriented approach who is looking for more independence and autonomy and wants to work with a team of highly-regarded specialists on a variety of challenging issues. The role is located in Brisbane. The person The right person will have demonstrable recent experience in applying, in a range of contexts: relevant Annex 14 and CASR Part 139 requirements Australia's National Airports Safeguarding Framework ICAO Doc 8168 (PANS-OPS), CASR Part 173 and other airspace protection measures safety/risk management systems, standards and techniques. We expect the person will have: a relevant post-graduate qualification in an aviation-related field extensive experience in the industry, preferably in an airport, aviation operations or airport consulting environment strong problem solving, research, and analytical skills demonstrated excellence in written communication including proofing and editing skills highly developed interpersonal and communication skills a strong desire to contribute to the continued growth of the company. Desirable but not essential attributes include: operational experience as a pilot or air traffic controller (or similar) demonstrated expertise in using GIS and/or CAD applications in performing aerodrome planning or airspace and instrument procedure design tasks.
