CPS IT Consulting is working with a long standing customer to recruit for a Business Development Manager, to be based out of their office in Ringwood. Our client is a Leading National IT/Technology, Hardware/Software, AV and Communications Distributor. This is a unique opportunity to join the business as you will be growing the exclusive established product and vendor relationships. PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible for this role you need to have full unrestricted working rights and currently reside in Australia. Position Summary This position will assist in the creation of the go to market plan and strategy and its execution, with the primary goal and objective of developing further business with both existing Channel Partners, Resellers and Customers, while seeking out and developing new ones. Whilst developing new business, the position will report market intelligence to the Product Manager and Vendor to overcome any roadblocks or sales objections. The role will be an extension to the Sales Team and you will lead the conversations on sales opportunities to give the organisation the best opportunity to close the sale successfully. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key Vendors, Channel Partners, Resellers and Customers using a New Business Development/Sales Development mindset. Assist in product positioning with existing Channel Partners, Resellers and Customers and identify target customers and audiences with specific objectives to improve sales. Drive business development activities and generate demand for key vendors and products. Proactively engage with Channel Partners, Resellers, Customers and the sales team, educate them through training and product demonstrations and discuss new technologies. Develop business through product promotions and support the sales teams. The remuneration on offer is $100k Base Salary + Super + 30% Bonus ($30k) which is uncapped based on performance.
