Based in Melbourne as our Events Operations Specialist, we are seeking a professional with skills in event operations who thrives on resource planning, aligning administrative operations, then coordinating event specific elements of programs and finally thriving on delivering an exceptional client experience within a passionate and high performing team. Your key responsibilities will include: Assist Sponsorship and Events (S&E) team in coordinating resource planning, control risk analysis, create foundational templates and manage operational duties for the S&E team. Liaise and negotiate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Generate unique concepts/ideas for the operations of exceptional client experiences. Support elements of brand campaigns and overarching firm events according to best practice within the firm. Guarantee a smooth delivery of required sponsorship and event logistics. Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet the agreed performance outcomes. Ideally you will be a resourceful self-starter with a tertiary education in events management, marketing, or a related discipline. Experience in a professional services environment focusing on operational duties and event planning is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid project management experience, and the ability to work seamlessly within a team is essential to thrive in this dynamic role. Prior experience in event operations, planning, management, and execution. Tertiary qualification with a major in project management, event management or related discipline. Prior experience in a project management or events-based role is required, preferably within a professional service or B2B environment. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent project management and multitasking skills. Experience working with a variety of external suppliers. Familiarity with a CRM system, project management and e-marketing tools is beneficial. Collaborative team player comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
