About The Role It's an exciting time to Join Ventia as the Ventia Operation Centre (VOC) has been in continuous growth due to our success to our customers across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join the growing team and will be responsible for the planning, programming, and management of bids and proposals. The successful applicant will facilitate, challenge, and drive the team toward winning bids and hold accountability for overall financial governance across commercial and financial, bid management, and business engagement. The right candidate will ideally be based in our Cremorne head office; however location can be flexible for the right candidate. Duties include but not limited to: Perform commercial reviews and evaluate proposals. Market trend analysis and regularity assessment of potential operations centre opportunities. Work in partnership with central finance teams to optimize operations centre budget, financial reports, and financial efficiencies. Work in partnership with stakeholders and estimators to develop and maintain cost & pricing modeling. Co-ordination of operations centre bid management and pre-contracts activities. Maintain operations centre opportunities within the relevant sales and marketing. Preparation and execution of tender presentations. Establish and maintain key relationships to promote the operations centre capabilities. Provide assistance with growing the centre's diversity of portfolio. About you: Experienced in stakeholder and senior client engagement high-impact negotiations. Principle understanding of effective tendering & pre-contract risk mitigation. Extensive experience in pre-contracts gained in relevant industries. Understanding of operations in a contact/operations centre environment. Familiar with B2B sales process.
