We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.Our recent projects include:Melbourne T2 ExpansionFrankston Hospital RedevelopmentTwelve Apostles Visitor CentreNew Adelaide Women's and Children's HospitalOur Changemakers enjoy:Flexible working hours and a hybrid work environmentA social, collaborative, and inclusive culture with a calendar full of social and networking eventsAccess to our Employee Assistance Program and to corporate health and travel discounts12 weeks parental leaveOptions for global mobility and purchased additional leaveAnd much moreWhat you'll doReporting to our Head of Structures - Victoria, you will:Coordinate project requirements and allocate modelling resourcesUtilise BIM tools and workflows to deliver a range of structural projectsInterpret BIM requirements and implement suitable BIM protocols for projectsEnsure that accurate drawings and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and externalImplement or Review BIM Execution Plans / Management Plans for projects.Maintain technical standards as per contractual obligationsExpertly liaise with high level external stakeholders and clientsManage BIM Team/s within Victoria and liaise with National teamsImplement required training and upskilling of Victorian staffContribute to National Innovation, Quality and Business Education InitiativesReview inputs to technical standard and protocols with National Teams.Boost team culture and collaboration with the team.About youThe successful candidate we are looking for will typically have 12+ years of experience and have:Extensive experience working within Structures as a BIM Coordinator/BIM Leader.Personal and technical skills to represent the company at an internal, external and management levelThe ability to demonstrate leadership in a team environment including managing resources and developing team skillsExcellent proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and various BIM systemsRecognised expert in technical discipline at a regional level with broad experience in providing key technical expertise across a wide range of diverse and complex projects. Is sought out by others for technical expert opinion based on demonstrated competence in a specialised field.Advanced skills in modelling & detailing complex designs. Highly competent using role specific software for the production of project design outputs.Advanced knowledge of BIM and design led BIM within Property disciplines, project models and appreciation of multidisciplinary BIM process.Highly skilled in complex designs and Coordination management. Proven ability to take a key lead role in the coordination process of large sized multidiscipline projects.Experienced in developing and maintaining client relationships. Demonstrated competence in delivering best client's outcomes /options.Highly effectively at liaising and communicating with the wider business, both within and external to their team, including balancing team and business requirements. Managed large diverse teams, resources and undertake mentoring.Advanced knowledge in all manners of Construction Methodology & Project Delivery methods.Proven ability in building the technical capability of business scale teams and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.Advanced skills in the management of model metadata including the application of classification systems and other data schema across large and diverse projects.Advanced project information management expertise and able to implement best-practice workflows at business and major project level.
