An opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist - Advanced (Plastics, Vascular, Lymphoedema, Cancer, Haematology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will Provide advanced clinical expertise and skill in delivering specialised clinical assessments, treatments and evaluations in the area of oncology, radiation, haematology, lymphoedema, vascular and plastics Provide independent clinical services of a highly-complex and varied nature where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require constant adaptation or modification to address clinical requirements Provide operational management to senior occupational therapists and provide operational co-ordination to other occupational therapy department personnel who work in acute services Monitor, review and report non labour budget expenditure directly to the Director Occupational Therapy About you To be successful in this position you will require:

A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised tertiary institution AHPRA Registration Drivers Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Flexible work options Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Temporary full time (up to five months, with possibility of extension) Base salary ranging from $5 395.60 - $5 630.00 per fortnight Occupational Therapy promotes health and well-being through occupation.
