Job Description This role forms part of our Commercial Data Specialist team. The team's goal is to support and advise our Sales Team on how they can use data and insights to maximise advertising sales across our digital assets - including nine.com.au, 9Now, 9Honey, Pedestrian.TV, Metro Mastheads, Digital Audio and subscription video platform Stan.

The experienced team will mentor and train you to become a 'Data Expert'. You will learn how data can be used to better reach our audiences across Nine's digital network. You will develop critical skills to effectively translate and communicate the complex world of data in a way that is meaningful and useful to our Salespeople and our customers. You will find great satisfaction in seeing them optimise their sales results by following your advice.

Day to day you will:

Manage the building of our audience segments across our Digital network Be trained in Nine's Adobe Audience Manager and Experience Platform to build our custom audiences across our Digital Network Leverage and develop a deep understanding of the Nine's Data Products across Insights, Activation and Measurement to become a subject matter expert to our wider sales team Develop your presentation skills on our Data GTM through in-person and online training as well as your ability to present insights across the sales team and agency partners Articulate specific audience recommendations for specific sales/agencies inquiries Develop meaningful relationships via face-to-face and online across the wider Nine business to champion our Data Products offering for both internal & external stakeholders to Nine Build Data GTM material to support the commercialisation of Nine's Data Products Assist in training and onboarding new salespeople with Data Products material Qualifications Ideally you have some experience working with consumer and/or member data in a sales driven commercial environment. You understand the importance of effectively communicating the value of consumer data and how it can be used to drive revenue to salespeople and customers. You enjoy translating these insights in a meaningful way and find great satisfaction in seeing sales results and customer revenue optimised as a result.

In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally:

Be a recent university graduate with a marketing or commerce degree Be a confident self-starter who can work in a highly commerical, ambiguous, fast-paced environment Prior experience or a strong interest in learning Adobe Audience Manager and Experience Platform, as well as Salesforce Have a passion for learning and take ownership of your own development Have an interest in both the data/digital and media industries Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines Be capable of developing solid relationships with others, built on trust and credibility Excellent communication and presentation skills, and an understanding of the sales process Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Capable of presenting data-driven insights effectively through in-person and online channels to internal stakeholders and external agency partners Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed Openness to learning new technologies and evolving strategies in the digital data landscape Additional Information Being part of our Nine Sales team means you will benefit from:
