They provide institutional grade service and funding solutions to their client base of borrowers and investors. With a strong track record of investment success and a commitment to financial innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.Job Summary:As the Deputy CFO of our private credit fund, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic initiatives of the organization. You will work closely with the CFO and senior management to manage financial risk, optimize capital deployment, and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:

Collaborate with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies and long-term financial plans.Oversee and direct the FP&A team to conduct financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support investment decisions and portfolio management.Monitor financial performance against targets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Investment Management:

Support the investment management team with systems which Monitor portfolio performance And financial returns

Statutory and Financial Reporting:

overseeing and optimising financial and accounting operations, including cash flow management, debt management and collectionfinalising high-level financial reporting and consolidating budgets

Risk Management and Compliance:

Implement risk management strategies, policies, and controls to mitigate financial risks.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal policies.Coordinate audits, reviews, and examinations by external auditors, regulators, and investors.

Team Leadership and Development:

Help lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department.Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldCPA or CA qualifications.Proven experience (10 years) in financial services, investment management, and/or non-bank lending / private credit funds preferred.Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.Strong knowledge of financial accounting, analysis, modeling, risk management, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with a high level of accountability is essential.If you are a strategic financial leader with a passion for investment management, risk mitigation, and driving financial excellence, we invite you to apply for the Deputy CFO position.
