Leadership/management of teams Language English (business level) Your MissionWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Planning Manager to join the PUMA team!Reporting to the Teamhead Operations, Logistics and Projects, the Planning Manger Inbound is required to be an analytical thinker with the ability to competently perform analyses and reporting to a high standard.The role will lead a team of Inbound Logistics Planners to execute market-leading customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.Liaising directly with Puma suppliers internationally and locally to coordinate cargo movement and work closely with wider members of the Operations team to support critical and time-sensitive cargo movement across Australia and New Zealand.Key responsibilities include:Managing & monitoring of import/export related tasks Enforce customs compliance, inclusive of Certificate of Origin, HS-Code & shipping document validation to minimise shipping delays. Container delivery scheduling & origin shipping approvals, prioritising deliveries of urgent cargo, balancing minimalization of detention & demurrage charges. Coordination of export operations with internal customers, warehousing, and destination teams. Freight consolidation for direct-delivery customers Reviews & corrective actions with ocean and air freight providers. Managing the Inbound Shipping Inbox Manage & action time-critical request for information. Monitor service agreements - department's services & external services providers. Liaising & coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on logistics & customs requirements. Inbound tracking, reporting and analysis Shipment tracking, including follow up of shipments at origin ports to ensure delivery dates are updated and communicated accordingly for publication in PowerBI.Ad hoc reporting and collating of existing reports in various Inbound-related areas.Ad hoc actions & coordination of import/export activities & documentation.Monthly/weekly freight reporting for internal stakeholder groupsFollow up & close aged open orders.Lead time reviewFreight costing & margin analysis PUMA provides equal opportunities for all job applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
