If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a permanent Perth-based Senior Project Manager, reporting directly to Operations Director to join our Operating Centres Team.

About the Job  As a Technip Energies Senior Project Manager with experience managing onshore EPC small to medium size projects (CV from 150 to 500M AUD), your role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex project(s) in the energy transition industry. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of the project, which involves developing the project scope, defining the technical requirements, and preparing the project execution plan, defining the best contract model for the execution phase. Working closely with the client to ensure that their objectives and requirements are fully understood and incorporated into the project plan.

Once the FEED phase is complete, you will roll over to the Execute Phase, which involves managing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or EPCm (Engineering, Procurement, Construction management) activities.

 

Summary:

Safety driven, ensuring all members carry out their duties in a safe manner according to our Health & Safety policy at all times.  High level experience in delivering EPC (EPCm, EPsCm) onshore projects (150 to 500MAUD Contract Value) from contract award to close out.  Experience in managing Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of the project. Responsible for developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and for ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the client's objectives and requirements Responsible for managing project risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues, and ensuring that all project stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any changes to the project scope or schedule. Drive Lean, Fit for Purpose mindset Implementing high level strategies around profitability, overhead minimisation, positive cashflows, improved financial ratios and effective resource planning. Build strong and meaningful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring everyone are going towards the same vision. Be commercially minded with genuine curiosity of end-to-end project life cycle and understanding the potential bottlenecks that might arise. About You To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in project management, with experience in onshore EPC projects. You should have a good understanding of the oil and gas industry, including the regulatory environment, and be able to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

High level of interpersonal and communications skills. Demonstrable leadership experience to motivate and manage project teams to deliver high-quality results. 

There is travel to QLD required for the duration of the project. 

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (ideally Mechanical, Civil or Structural or equivalent).15-20 years experience in Project Management High level of interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal). Demonstrable experience working as part of an integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
