Systems Safety Assurance Engineer

You will join the project team of a major construction company in their Sydney office where you will be working across city shaping projects.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Assist in the coordination and monitoring of systems assurance activities performed by the relevant project delivery organisations.Participate in and assist with the risk assessment activities for railway operations to ensure that potential hazards are identified, adequately assessed, and mitigated.Support the project and tender teams in effectively implementing risk management elements, recommending effective risk control measures, and evaluating the initial and residual risk involvedReview and comment on systems assurance submissionsEnsure safety requirements have been included in designs and communicated to relevant parties.Review key project processes, documentation, and assurance evidence to ensure alignment with verification and validation strategy across the project lifecycleEnsure all appropriate measures and feedback is in place to support, monitor and review all aspects of the design safety assurance review processManage and monitor the systems assurance program on projects and tenders
