Senior Associate or Special Counsel - Employee Relations & Safety page is loadedSenior Associate or Special Counsel - Employee Relations & SafetyApplylocationsPerthtime typeFull timeposted onPosted 25 Days Agojob requisition id497546About the roleOur National Employee Relations & Safety team are currently recruiting a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with a solid background in employment and industrial relations law to work with Partner Ruth Rosedale and also Philip Willox and the broader team.This role will see you responsible for strategic and complex advisory, litigation and transactional matters across Australia and internationally which often sets the pace in the market.This role is pivotal in assisting our Partners to provide exceptional service to our clients and you will also work closely with more junior members to help develop and mentor them.We are open to candidates seeking full time or part time (4 days p/w) and we can be flexible around drop-offs and pick-ups for daycare/school.Our lawyers recognise that each client has different needs and work in partnership with our clients to achieve commercial outcomes. It is this flexibility, together with a deep knowledge of our clients business that differentiates King & Wood Mallesons in the labour law marketplace.About you:You will have recognised experience in employment law and industrial relations law as well as strong transactional experience gained in a similar environment and enjoy working as part of a committed and dynamic teamStrong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clientsTeam focus - to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships across the National Employee Relations & Safety practice and more generallyExperience representing employers in employment disputes in the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunalsAs a senior lawyer within the team you will be expected to maintain your networks to enhance development of the practice and be actively involved in industry related issues. You will have proven experience in assistance in the management of teams (including remotely) and allocating resources to ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of solicitor skill sets.
