Start a New Journey with West Moreton Health! Prison Health Services provides primary care services for approximately 4,800 prisoners, or 44% of the Queensland adult prison population. In 2024, service activity will increase with the commissioning of another 1500-cell correctional facility, currently under construction in the Gatton region, when that facility reaches capacity West Moreton Health will house half of Queensland's prisoner population. The role of Senior Medical Officer is to provide primary health care services and clinical leadership within the Prison Health Services and is required to work across all correctional facilities within West Moreton Health Service.
