We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our team at a well-established retail business based in Sydney's CBD and Sydney South. As an integral part of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our retail operations and ensuring all team members have the resources they need to thrive. Description Key Responsibilities: Assist in the recruitment process, from coordinating interviews to conducting new hire orientations. Maintain accurate employee records and support HR managers in implementing policies and procedures. Coordinate training and development programs, fostering growth opportunities for our retail staff. Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters. Support payroll processing and attendance tracking in collaboration with finance. Participate in HR projects focused on employee engagement and process enhancements. Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, preferably in the Retail/FMCG/Hospitality sector. Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and understanding of AU Labour law. Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work well in a team environment. Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus in Excel. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Customer-centric mindset and collaborative nature. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
