Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated and reliable Maintenance and Facility Manager to join our friendly and successful team at our Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel.

You will be responsible for the following: Implement and drive the preventative maintenance program. Perform the role in a hands-on manner by undertaking any repairs and maintenance as required. Supervision of (but not limited to) electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services and approved contractor works. Property maintenance including painting, plastering, and carpentry Ensure WHS best practice at all times. Stock control, supplier management. Quoting, scheduling and managing of Capex Requests Recruitment Approved Sponsor - Oaks Hotels & Resorts Suites

Annual salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 (excluding superannuation)

Expected hours: 38 per week

Location: 60 Market St, Melbourne VIC 3000

Qualifications The successful applicant will have: Building qualification advantageous Previous hands-on Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, preferably in a hotel environment; Strong facilitates knowledge  Property maintenance experience including painting, plastering, and carpentry.  Proven ability to manage and develop team members; Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program; Experience organising, consulting and negotiating with Contractors; Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents) A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active service; Excellent interpersonal and communications combined with impeccable presentation.
