This is an exciting opportunity in a permanent Project Planner role, contributing to significant bulk materials handling projects. This position is located in the heart of Perth CBD, with occasional site visits to oversee project controls. Client Details My client is a Leader in Materials handling projects offering a range of services including designing, supplying, installing, operating, and servicing a vast array of material handling equipment.
Description Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for bulk material handling projects. Utilise project management software and tools to create and maintain project schedules, resource allocations, and progress tracking. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to anticipate and address potential project delays or challenges. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project implementation. Monitor project progress against established milestones and identify deviations from the plan, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement. Support project managers in the identification and resolution of issues related to project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement. Profile The successful candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a passion for project planning, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes in bulk material handling projects.
