With regular shutdowns at BlueScope Steel, you'll work on different systems and machinery, ensuring no two days are alike. Your adaptability will be key in tackling new challenges. About You: Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with heavy industrial equipment, ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out with precision
Shutdowns are crucial periods in industrial operations. We need individuals who are punctual, dependable, and committed to meeting deadlines
Commitment to safety protocols with strict adherence to safety policies and procedures
Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or related fields are essential
Effective communication skills are key, as you'll be interacting with colleagues and supervisors, ensuring clear updates are provided throughout the process
Experience in steel manufacturing is ideal but not required, however some heavy industrial experience will be beneficial
