Position Overview: As a Speech Pathologist at our Darwin location, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in a supportive community while making a significant impact on the health and well-being of our diverse population working with an NDIS case load across the lifespan. Combine work and travel with amazing opportunities to explore the region through outreach trips servicing remote participants.

A typical day in the role may look likeā€¦ - A unique opportunity to go on regular outreach trips within the Tiwi islands and Katherine to provide face-to-face services to our regional participants.

- Provide face-to-face or Telehealth services to our participants from our Darwin office.

- Work with a predominantly paediatric caseload, with the flexibility to cater to broader needs

- In addition to the above, you will provide Speech Pathology services to our participants in their homes, schools, or community centres within the Darwin metropolitan and/or regional area.

- Regular multidisciplinary meetings with other Patches' disciplines to optimise holistic care and multidisciplinary goal setting for participants.

- Complete relevant non-face-to-face work, including writing progress notes, resource preparation and report writing.

- Support from SP colleagues that provide experience in remote service, technology prescription, paediatric home modifications, mealtime support, relational therapy, behaviour support, and sensory processing approaches

Why Patches: - A competitive salary starting from $100,000 to $125,000 (dependent on experience)

Requirements: - SPA registered

- A desire for adventure and love of the outdoors

- Willingness to explore remote locations through outreach trips

- WWC and NDIS workers check

- Policy clearance certificate from within the last 6 months
