Aps/ Tender Assessor

Your new role We are supporting a Commonwealth Department to source multiple candidates at the APS5 or APS6 level to join the procurement branch as tender evaluation officers. These officers will be required to support purchasing exercises by:

Assistance with conformance

Assessing tender responses

Preparing and/or reviewing a variety of written reports and products, such as debrief reports

General support for phases within purchasing activities

What you'll need to succeed The ideal applicant would have the following skills and experience:

Strong analytical skills (and experience with detailed assessment of reports or documentation) and high-level judgement and decision-making skills

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills (such as editing skills), including an ability to develop and deliver constructive feedback on tender responses

Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, an ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure

A desire to learn and the ability to take guidance and constructive feedback

Prior experience with large scale purchasing activities. What you'll get in return These positions will be offered as an initial contract until 30 June 2024, with an option to extend.
