The Baxter properties focus primarily on Grain production both summer and winter growing with Cotton and Wool adding to the mix. Kelvin Baxter Transport Pty Ltd specialises in bulk haulage of a wide range of agricultural products with key focuses on grain cartage to support the agricultural community. We operate over 50 Trucks, along with anywhere between 30 and 50 subcontractors. Our office and workshop are located on site, 15 kms north of Berrigan, NSW. Your main duties for this role will include: Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing and scheduling the day to day pick up and delivering of bulk agri- commodities Building and Maintaining strong Customer working relationships Ensure transport services are provided in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in a fast-paced environment Liaise and keep communication open between all stakeholders To be successful in this role you will require: You will be a confident individual who can hit the ground running in this busy Allocator's role. Your experience and skill-set is likely to include: Excellent organisational and time management skills, high attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to changing situations on a day-to-day basis The ability to work in both a close knit team environment and autonomously when necessary A desire to go above and beyond in every interaction to build strong relationships with our customers Enthusiastic attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strive to consistently deliver on targeted results Proven planning and problem-solving skills A good understanding of the transport industry (desirable but not essential) Operational exposure to grain delivery, services and processes (desirable but not essential) Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively Fast learner with Intermediate Computer and Microsoft Skills A strong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team Are you a Truck Driver with industry knowledge looking for a change in lifestyle and seeking new challenges   This is a diverse role where you must be proactive, take responsibility and show initiative.
