Category Manager Fmcg

Our client is an established leader in the pet food industry. As a business they strive to constantly innovate and push boundaries to give our pets the real food they deserve. They have continued to grow their business and brand portfolio and are looking to recruit a Category Manager to maximise retail success in the fresh category. In conjunction with the Senior Category Manager fresh and as part of a larger team, you will assist in the development, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive category strategies across the 4 P's that align with the overall business goals and contribute strongly to strengthening the influence with customers and shoppers. Responsibilities: Develop promotional & marketing activity to maximise sales & profit performance Negotiate with suppliers to provide successful promotional strategies Manage and present category performance, trends and growth to internal and external stakeholders Contribute in strategic supplier meetings to drive win/win outcomes Work cross functionally to deliver best results including sales & marketing functions with promotions, planograms etc Your experience: Strong commercial skills and exp in category environment Category experience within FMCG Success in developing and executing customer-focused category plans A drive and desire to achieve in a competitive market Proven success in negotiating and influencing at all levels Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical skills with the ability to use the insights/date to drive a solution or create opportunities Tertiary business qualifications highly regarded What's in it for you: Join a dynamic, collaborative and fun team Be part of a high profile business achieving great results Flexible working arrangements Attractive salary package #J-18808-Ljbffr
