Ongoing full-time role Located - All of Regional NSW Salary range commences at $120,859 to $133,183 per annum + super and leave loading Flexible work arrangements offered About you Our ideal candidate is a proven leader in the GIS field who can effectively manage and inspire teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in industry-standard GIS software and advanced data analysis techniques. Exceptional communication skills are a must, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, adept at prioritising tasks efficiently. To be successful in this role you'll need; Lead, inspire, and manage a team of spatial analysts and GIS specialists. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture while providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members. Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of spatial analysis projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet or exceed quality standards. Manage geospatial data collection, acquisition, storage, and maintenance. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security, while identifying opportunities for data improvement and optimisation. Establish and enforce quality control measures for spatial data and analysis outputs while overseeing the team's timely responses to spatial data inquiries through the help desk. About the role As the Technical Spatial Team Leader, you will primarily focus on maintaining operational functionality, overseeing projects, data management, and spatial analysis activities. Additionally, you will manage the team responsible for the spatial help desk queue and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role also entails emergency management responsibilities, ensuring timely access to GIS information to facilitate rapid responses to emergencies statewide.
