Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Are you looking for a fun and exciting role that can showcase your communication and marketing skills? We're seeking a fantastic individual who can bring exceptional written and verbal communication skills, passion, and experience to a role working across all aspects of brand, marketing, and communication externally and internally within a rapidly growing environmental science and engineering company. Please note that while our office is currently located in Newmarket, we will be relocating mid-year to the Wynyard Quarter. About the role Reporting to our Marketing and Communications Director, this position is far from dull, with various activities to keep you on your toes. You'll be doing everything from mentoring and developing our Marketing Advisor, interviewing and writing articles for industry publications and thought leadership pieces, creating content for our website, internal newsletter and other marketing collateral, to helping shape content for industry presentations, priority bids and strategic positioning opportunities. As a key team member, you'll play a crucial role in building our brand externally. Your insights into market and competitor activities will be invaluable. You'll help plan and develop innovative ways to engage and interact with our external target audience and our people internally - finding unique and exciting ways of communicating essential information and business initiatives to our rapidly growing team. Your interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people within our wider business is crucial. We believe our people are our brand, so you'll find ways to leverage and promote this technical expertise and talent from within our team. What you'll bring We're looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years' experience within a B2B environment (preferably within a similar industry - professional services) and the right attitude. To do well in this role you will be full of ideas and willing to take on any challenge. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, a natural leader, and willing to roll up your sleeves to help get the job done. An understanding of Te Ao Maori principles and their importance in helping to shape authentic messaging in marketing and communications activity would be advantageous.
