To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries. The Opportunity We have an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our team based in Yarraville team in Melbourne. You will be an integral member of the Wilmar ANZ IT function and will make a strong contribution to a high-performing IT team and team culture within Wilmar ANZ IT. The Purpose of this role: You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of technical services to the Wilmar and GF Workplace. This includes working with vendor partners, Wilmar ANZ IT team members, and service users to ensure IT services defined by statements of work and service level agreements are met. Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain desktop/laptop computer systems to Wilmar ANZ Standards. Manage desktop/laptop device refresh for up to 200 devices annually, with flexibility for additional devices. Support EUC services provided by the outsourced service provider (OSP) and intervene when necessary to maintain business-as-usual activities. Conduct site visits as directed by ANZ IT Management for projects or service enhancements. Collaborate with business and ANZ IT teams on various technology projects, including office and site moves What you need: Proven experience working on a service desk and end-user computer environment involving Customer and Service Desk support Expertise with EUC hardware and Software within complex technical environments such as Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, MS Teams, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud based solutions Excellent technical and customer service skills to build relationships with key stakeholders A passion for problem-solving with strong attention to detail with a solutions-focused mindset Legal working rights within Australia What to expect from us: At Wilmar you will be part of a team that values you and what you have to offer.
