Front End Engineer | React | Wfh

For a digital client of expertech we are currently Lead front end developer | React to work on various digital web projects. This React role is a a senior Engineering role where candidates need to have full exposure across the end-2-end software development life cycle. Job ResponsibilitiesOwn the frontend deliverables of allocated projectsDevelop high-quality, responsive, and scalable web applications using the latest technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and deliver user-centric solutionsDrive the development process and ensure adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and quality guidelines while being on the tools when requiredStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend developmentWork with project managers to estimate project timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and manage project deliveryParticipate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutionsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementAssist the Head of Frontend Technology in realising the Frontend Team goalsAd hoc duties where requiredQualificationsBS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent 7+ years of work experienceExperience in as a backend framework is a plusProficient in writing testable code using Jest or similar frameworksProficiency in HTML and CSS frameworks like Tailwind or similarExperience working with microservice architecturesExperience using Azure DevOps, JIRA or a similar tool in an Agile-Scrum frameworkExperience in working in Agile and Scrum teamsExperience developing for CMS and Commerce systems enterprise levelProficient understanding of accessibility tools and delivering WCAG accessible solutionsAbility to mentor other developers of various skill levelAlthough the preference for this role is for React Engineers to live in Sydney, this role is WFH and can be worked from anywhere in Australia.
