Role Details:Reporting to the Senior Surveyor you will be responsible for providing assistance to the Survey Team by contributing to the achievement and safe delivery of the mining plan as well as supporting the delivery of a comprehensive survey control. The role involves assisting the survey team to complete their tasks, ensuring that all necessary equipment is inspected and is in proper working order. Employee Assistance Program Long service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous service Educational assistance About the role:Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the strong safety culture and performance of Gold Fields and ensures that the Vital Behaviours program is supported and strengthened; Under the direction of a qualified surveyor, carry out field and office duties including Laser and control installation, survey pickups, creation of survey memos and assisting senior staff to ensure that adequate checks in the field are performed; Prepare documentation and survey instructions; Identify product, process or quality system non-conformance and recommend corrective/preventative actions Consistently demonstrate and reflect behaviours, actions and attitudes in line with the Gold Field's Values. Actively promote Gold Field's policies, procedures and systems relating to your area of responsibility. About you:Completed a Certificate III or IV in Surveying Practical survey assistant experience / Vacation time would be deemed advantageous Leica Total Station experience M300 drone experience (desirable) Possess a valid WA class C license A good temperament and willingness to learn.
