This role is not just about enforcing compliance but driving it, making a tangible difference for generations to come.Unique opportunity to ensure the integrity of government procurement processesDynamic and supportive work environment that nurtures critical thinkingRole with significant impact on ethical supplier practicesInitial contract until June 30th with possible extensionWhat you'll do:Participate in state-wide compliance activities including conducting investigations and referring non-compliance allegations to regulatorsPerform complex methodical investigations, assessments, referrals, and detailed analysis of supplier complianceProduce high-quality investigation reports, evidential briefs, and recommendationsConduct reviews of technical information arising out of serious supplier breachesProvide support and advice on compliance matters to less experienced staff in a team environmentIdentify actual or perceived risk of non-compliance and recommend penalties and sanctions for substantiated non-compliance under the Ethical Supplier frameworkDetermine the appropriate management of complaints being the requirement for an investigation by PIU or a referral to a procuring agency and/or regulator for an investigationIdentify and communicate opportunities to improve procurement compliance practices for buyers and suppliers by analysing outcomes for potential contentious issues and risk factorsWhat you bring:Proven experience in leading compliance activities, evidence-based investigations pursuant to policy, contractual commitments, legislation and regulationDemonstrated knowledge of interpreting and applying complex policy and legislation such as the Queensland Procurement Policy, Ethical Supplier Mandate, Ethical Supplier Threshold and the Industrial Relations Act 2016Strong verbal and written communication skills resulting in clear, concise and accurate investigation reports and advice targeted to internal and external stakeholdersHighly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships, support the team, use initiative and resolve problemsDemonstrated experience in managing potentially competing tasks, tight timeframes and activities of high complexity and priority in a fast-paced environmentDegree or qualification in Industrial Relations, Workplace Health and Safety, investigations or auditing is highly desirableAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.To apply please click apply or call Daisy Smith on 07 3032 2233 for a confidential discussion.Salary: AUD70 - AUD71 per hour + + Super + Access to RW Contractor BenefitsSalary: AUD78 - AUD79 per hour + exclusive benefits programSalary: AUD78 - AUD79 per hour + exclusive benefits programSalary: AUD87 - AUD88 per hour + + Super + Access to RW Contractor BenefitsSalary: AUD130,000 - AUD150,000 per annumSalary: AUD57 - AUD58 per hour + exclusive benefits programCome join our global team of creative thinkers, problem solvers and game changers.
