We also offer financial incentives and study leave for those looking to further their studies to become Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practising Accountants (CPA).Your role:We are currently seeking a motivated, confident and talented individual to join our well-established team in a full-time accountant role. Salary will be negotiated based on the applicants experience and skills.Responsibilities include:Efficient and accurate data entry including the functions of:Bank reconciliationsProcessing accounts payable and accounts receivablePreparation and issuing of invoicesProcessing payroll and maintaining employee recordsRecording financial transactions of a business in bookkeeping software, spreadsheets or databasesDevelop and maintain the chart of accountsDebtor managementProvide accurate, timely and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information including identifying and addressing any irregularitiesIntroducing and maintaining new and existing accounting systems/softwaresPreparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity statementsPreparation of Income Tax Returns And Financial StatementsLiaise and meet with clientsMaintaining internal control systemsManage own time recording to client filesParticipate in weekly accountant/team training sessions including discussion, research & presentationThe successful candidate will have:Experience in a similar roleStrong sense of time management and organisational skillsOutstanding problem solving abilities with exceptional attention to detailHigh-level written communication skills including ability to prepare correspondence for clients and third partiesExcellent verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with clients in a professional mannerDemonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding client and practice informationDemonstrated organisational skills to multi task, work autonomously and with little supervision, prioritise work, take initiative, demonstrate flexibility and work under pressure with adherence to deadlinesDemonstrated ability of working with computers including Microsoft Office products and applications.Experience with accounting software programs (including but not limited to Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks) is not required, although highly desirable.  Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
