Your new role As the Engineering & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a large manufacturing facility. This includes management of facilities, equipment, processes, and products, and optimisation of processes while implementing continuous improvement programs to maximise productivity, exceed product quality requirements, and ensure a safe operating environment. Your duties will include: Transformation and continuous improvement of new and existing manufacturing processes, ensuring introduction of reliable and efficient systems that can exceed operational and quality targets Prepare, present and manage the relevant CAPEX/OPEX Engineering budget. Review of new product and part drawings to assess suitability inside the production environment Facilitation of NPI related activities into the manufacturing facility End-to-end facilities management including conducting site risk assessments, obtaining quotes from contractors and ownership of the preventative maintenance schedule Design, draw and coordinate the manufacturing of small jigs and fixtures required for use by the facility with both internal and external suppliers Manage and coach the ANZ Production Engineering team to further develop engineering capabilities to ensure desired outcomes and targets are achieved About you As an experienced Engineering & Facilities Manager, you will have: A degree in Engineering (mechanical) or other applicable degree Extensive experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience leading teams through operational transformation projects utilising lean manufacturing principles, (Kaizan, lean, 6Sigma, 6S) Computer skills including proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word and other MS Office applications.
