Fetal Monitoring Unit 0.3 EFT  Work within a highly motivated multidisciplinary team to enhance knowledge of high risk pregnancy The Fetal Monitoring Unit works closely alongside Mercy's Perinatal Medicine Department - http://mercyperinatal.com Care for women requiring fetal surveillance - CTG and basic obstetric ultrasounds Care to women requiring intravenous transfusions and assist with perinatal procedures Please note interviews and offers of employment maybe made prior to advertisement closing  ABOUT YOU: Hold a current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience Experience working across all areas of midwifery and preferably within a birthing suite and/or emergency department A confident practitioner in CTG interpretation, holding a level 3 RANZCOG certificate Credentialed or keen to upskill in basic third trimester ultrasound skills - presentation scan, AFIs and uterine artery dopplers Competent in intravenous cannulation Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise, adapt and offer mentoring and supervision to midwifery students and colleagues Provide person-centred care and the ability to work in a team environment ABOUT US: Mercy Health is a Catholic organisation grounded in a 2,000-year tradition of caring for others.
