Job DescriptionWhat we offerElectronic tabletUniforms Great team culture - team sports, regular social activities, family friendlyStrong Safety FocusFinancial Wellness ProgramsEmployee Assistance Program - immediate family includedPersonal and professional development opportunitiesThe RoleReporting to the Customer Account Manager and based in Mackay, theMechanical Service Technicianwill be responsible for performing hands on complex maintenance to all HVAC systems and working on various ongoing and upcoming jobs in the Central Queensland region.Some of the key responsibilities will include:Conduct detailed inspections of buildings/sitesDiagnose and rectify electrical or control faults in HVAC systems and componentsPlan general electrical maintenance and repair work as requiredInstall refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessoriesProvide quotations for service job or installation worksProvide technical support as requiredDevelop strong relationships with customers Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat makes you stand outWe are looking for a candidate who will demonstrate their experience in HVAC service, an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast-growing business, and the following attributes:Dual Trade Electrician / Refrigeration Mechanic highly desirablePossess relevant State and National Trade Licences (including but not limited to ARCTick, NREL, Construction Induction etc)Possess a valid Drivers' Licence for the state of employmentAbility to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.Provide a high-level technical service to customersExceptional time managementAbility to work under pressureCultureMost importantly the candidate will be able to demonstrate how they work within the VAE company values of Energy, Synergy and Success.
