Our goal is to streamline the delivery process and infrastructure to clients focusing on AWS well-architected and continuous delivery are growing our AWS Consulting Team in Sydney and we are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. About the roleAs a Senior System Engineer you will be responsible for establishing systems maintenance, support and best practices for our clients solutions and ongoing management. Your main responsibilities will be:Perform infrastructure, security, continuous integration and continuous delivery;Provide Pre-Sales support and Consulting services to clients;Design, deploy and maintain solutions for Cloud Migrations, Virtualisation, Networking, Servers, Storage and Backups;Lead core capabilities which involve researching, analyzing and evaluating infrastructure needs following company and clients requirements;Manage and monitoring network traffic and systems usage/capacity based on Cloud computing;Prepare documentation detailing procedures and instructions for maintenance; recording diagnosis and resolution of networks issues, improvements and modifications;Collaborate with key stakeholders including System Administrators, Developers, Testers, Architects and Business Analysts;Align and promote DNX culture by providing support, mentoring and coaching to other consultantsAnalyzing, developing, interpreting and evaluating complex system design and architecture specifications, data models and diagrams in the development, configuration and integration of computer systemsResearching, analyzing, evaluating and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performanceAssessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systemsProviding specialist skills in supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergenciesInstalling, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstationsProviding network programming in support of specific business needs and requirementsPreparing and maintaining procedures and documentation for network inventory, and recording diagnosis and resolution of network faults, enhancements and modifications to networks, and maintenance instructionsMonitoring network traffic, and activity, capacity and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performanceAbout youWe have a number of client projects that need DevOps resources at the moment to work on a wide range of projects. We are looking for a high profile consultant with the following tech competencies/knowledge:o Desired 2+ AWS certificationso Know how to operate and expand AWS architectureso AWS Organizations, IAM, Ec2, Containers, ECS, AWS CLIo Security concepts on the cloudo Infrastructure as code with Terraformo CICD Pipelines with Gitlab and Bitbucket PipelineDesired Ops Backgroundo Storageo Firewallo Server Management (Linux and Windows)o Active Directoryo Networking5+ years of experience as a systems engineer or similar role. Completed or undertaking technical education from an accredited course of study in Information Technology/Computer Science (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.What's in for youCompetitive salary and rewardsCasual & fun workplace vibe: we work hard, but we're still real people.
