Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Group General Manager to lead the operations of our multi-venue group. In this crucial role, you will oversee all aspects of our venues, drive financial performance, and deliver unparalleled guest experiences. As the group expands we want to double down on our commitment to creating the highest-quality experiences for our guests and team. The Group General Manager will drive the company's strategy and focus, lead and continue to develop our highly talented HQ team, work to develop exceptional quality control and training measures, and spearhead new venue development and other major projects. Our group has strong operational and technical foundations. While a functional understanding of performance and financial metrics is essential, this position is primarily a hands-on leadership role, and extensive technical skills are not required. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all Odd Culture Group venues and our head office Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability Manage and mentor senior head office department heads and venue managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and guest experiences Optimise operational efficiencies, cost control measures, and resource allocation Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop innovative concepts and promotions Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements Qualifications and Experience Extensive experience (7+ years) in a senior operational leadership role within a multi-venue hospitality group Proven track record of successfully managing diverse hospitality business models (restaurants, bars, clubs, and liquor retail) Hands-on, customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams Strong financial acumen and expertise in driving revenue growth and profitability Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays This is a pivotal leadership role for creating innovative change in the hospitality industry amongst highly experienced and motivated industry figures, and to grow and develop in an open-minded and dynamic environment which encourages forging new paths.
