We value inclusive leadership and teams and celebrate the results of succeeding together.  But our greatest priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our people and the communities we operate within.  About the role:  The Market Systems Technical Specialist is primarily responsible for the day-to-day technical support activities and management of the Market Systems (billing and metering) applications across the CKI group of electrical distribution companies of Powercor, CitiPower & United Energy. Key to this role is meeting our market obligations, ensuring 24x7 operations, analysing problems and finding solutions, and delivering enhancements as required by business and functional stakeholders. What you'll deliver: • Provide support for complex application problems. • Provide support for data maintenance in accordance with business and regulations requirements.  • Plan, deploy and test application patching and assist infrastructure teams where required. • Maintain Market Systems services in line with business service level obligations. • Ensure the delivery of market obligations as required by market participants and regulators. • Adhering to ITIL / ITSM standard processes. • Work closely with internal IT Project teams to ensure successful release and transition of deliverables. • Manage and coordinate timely resolution of system problems with internal and external service providers and vendors.  To succeed in the role, you'll have:  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or business-related discipline). • Demonstrated experience working in a multi-sourced environment. • Understanding of an application server health check and management, covering Windows Server, Unix (Solaris, RHEL) • Exposure to common tools and services in Windows Server, such as Powershell, IIS, .NET • Fluent with Oracle database programming  • ServiceNow experience for ITSM/Ops preferred. • Demonstrated experience in an Energy and Utilities business highly regarded.
