Job Description Sydney location Permanent, full time Hybrid working environment, 3 days in office. How will I help? The role will have indirect reports and be responsible for daily guidance. The (Candidate) Manager will pride themselves on their ability to deescalate disputes and be comfortable to liaise with various stakeholders in a Matrix management and work within complex environment/systems, with previous and relevant experience in Outsource/Offshore service providers. The role requires autonomous thinking and a well organised individual that can prioritise tasks as they arise. Open to any industries, however candidates with financial/professional services are a preference. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Oversee and manage the accounts payable function within the organisation. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment transactions. Monitor and maintain information, resolving discrepancies and working with procurement/related parties to solver supplier related queries. Review and reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient accounts payable processes and internal controls. Prepare and analyse financial reports related to accounts payable. Assist in audits (internal and external), including control review and assessment, and support other financial reporting requirements. What's in it for me? CPA, CA, ACCA or related professional certification is a plus. Previous leadership or management experience Proficiency in Financial and accounting processes. Knowledge of tax and compliance regulations related to accounts payable. Proficient in ERP accounting software (e.g. Oracle/SAP) What is it like to work there?
