At CA, we are building a culture that makes CA the best place to do the work our team loves!  THE OPPORTUNITY The Group Financial Controller will act as financial steward to the business, enabling delivery of optimum commercial performance and supporting the development and delivery of strategy and business transformation. This role is a fixed term parental leave cover for 12 months. YOUR ROLE The Group Financial Controller will manage and be responsible for: Management/Financial Accounting: all accounting activities related to business performance, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, management of the financial control team, ensuring delivery of accurate and timely month end and year end results, year-end audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance. Payroll: award compliant delivery to field team and payroll for the corporate population. Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, FP&A and Financial/Management Accounting. Enforcement of the Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place. Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Executive Committee (ExCo) to make critical business decisions. Support key stakeholders/department heads through project performance reporting, forecasting, commercial analysis, management reporting and value-add insights, ensuring finance operates as a true business partner to the wider business. Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems. ABOUT YOU This position would suit an experienced Financial Leader with a passion for making an impact to the children and communities we serve as we strive to guide Children's growth. Our wishlist includes: Commercial thinking. Desire to understand the key drivers of the business and use prior experience to drive improvement where possible. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. 5 or more years in a similar senior financial role. Experience managing finance and payroll functions. Experience in management and coordination of month end process and board reporting. Experience with management of year end audit and tax processes. Tax, audit and risk management knowledge. Legal & insurance knowledge. Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Commerce. Professional qualification as CA/CPA. Advanced excel skills. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
