Technology Project Manager (Lifecycle Replacement experience) A Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role at an organisation and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. Overall Purpose of Role: The role of the IT Project Manager focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible including: Leading project planning sessions.Coordinating staff and internal to end project management of projects through the relevant phases including definition, design, implementation, and service transition.Managing project progress and adapt work as required.Ensuring projects meet deadlines.Managing project financials.Managing relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.Managing multiple vendors to ensure they are providing services to scope, budget, and time.Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission, and review, if applicable.Designing risk mitigation plans.Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.Managing large and diverse teams. Experience Required Project Management qualifications mandatory (Prince2, PMBOK, PMP, AIPM, CPPP).Five or more years experience of IT Project Management within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2).Excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to work with a varied number and type of stakeholders from across the business.Experience in managing vendors as part of the projects delivery. Reporting Report on the initiative progress within program of work against delivery, quality, cost, and time commitments.Implement, monitor, and report on project activities including milestone delivery, resource allocation, issue management, risk management and mitigation.Consolidating the teams initiatives and reporting progress to key stakeholders. Additionally, Project Managers should possess high levels of the below skills to perform well in the role: Written and verbal communication skills.Highly organised, able to prioritise work and run multiple projects simultaneously while working autonomously or collaboratively.Leadership skills.Attention to detail.Conflict resolution skills.A quality control mindset.
